Hello, I’m Don Harms. After spending years vacationing in the Sierra Nevada, I decided to make Twain Harte my permanent home in 1986. Leaving behind a corporate career in Silicon Valley, I found my true calling in real estate, where I’ve spent decades helping families find their perfect mountain retreats. My journey began with leading roles at Prudential and Coldwell Banker, where I gained invaluable experience before founding Twain Harte Homes and Land. This company is built on the principles I hold dear: integrity, dedication, and a deep love for the community.

When I’m not in the office, you can find me exploring mountain streams with a fly rod in hand or enjoying quality time with my family, especially my five amazing grandchildren. I believe that real estate is not just about buying or selling properties; it’s about helping people find a place where they can create lifelong memories.
